School of Smart Custom Experience Facebook App

When Weber Shandwick was approached by RadioShack to launch a new outreach App campaign to target RadioShack’s 1.7 million Facebook followers to promote its School of Smart mobile phones, it searched for a team of creative developers who could engineer the groundwork and lift the project up on its feet.

The project involved leveraging a tricky manipulation of high-end coding to create a customized Facebook end-user experience whereupon after the app accesses the user’s Facebook profile, it would use complex sets of algorithms to determine which of the five potential customers that user is, and conversely matching them with an appropriate product.
